Mission San Antonio de Padua 2019

Watercolor Workshop, September 13 - 15

Registration Fee - $425

The only California mission providing overnight accommodations, Mission San Antonio offers a truly unique experience.  Situated  about 20 miles off Highway 1 near King City, the present day view from the mission is  approximately what it was 150 years ago.   Tucked away in rolling hills and fields, we find ourselves removed from the present day demands of life to a far simpler and quieter time. Staying in the recently upgraded bedrooms at the mission, dining on catered meals and receiving Bonni's personalized instruction is the perfect formula for a relaxing, creative weekend away without going through security lines at the airport.  Arriving Friday afternoon we will enjoy a social hour, complete with appetizers, in the Refectory before our catered dinner. After Saturday's breakfast, Bonni will demonstrate watercolor techniques and then assist each painter in their work.  We'll add to our repertoire of watercolor skills by another demonstration by Bonni after lunch.  Before our Saturday evening social hour we'll enjoy some unscheduled free time.  After dinner we'll receive and give constructive feedback on our paintings.  Sunday morning we'll have yet another demonstration after our breakfast prepared by caterer Danielle. Painters can stay on the grounds after check out time at 10 am.  Your completed registration includes five meals, accommodations for two nights, and watercolor instruction.  Dietary issues can be accommodated with advanced notice. All rooms have two twin beds; the prices is the same for single occupancy or double.  Please contact me if you have questions/ concerns.
